Recent Studio Upgrades:
Both Jim Wilson in Boulder and Charlie Pilzer in Springfield have worked hard this last year to upgrade their studios. Designed in 1995 by John Storyk, Charlie's room in Springfield received a technical reconfiguration, the addition of a Maselec MTC-2 mastering console, a Z-sys digital router, and new furniture. The end result is up to date gear and a more spacious feel to the room.

Jim "loves the sound of studio A" in Boulder. "The room has more depth and character than my space in Austin." After integrating his gear into the room, Jim has since added the Grace Design m906 Surround Monitor Controller.

Ann Blonston Busy With FestivaLink.net
:
General Manager Ann Blonston is busy with FestivaLink.net, offering downloads recorded live at events including Merlefest and Newport Folk Festival. The music on FestivaLink is sweetened and encoded here at Airshow before it is posted online. The Boston Herald says, "If the Merlefest sets are a barometer, FestivaLink will rapidly redefine the live music market. [They] make the bootlegs from the Internet sharing sites pale in comparison."
