Tracking and Mixing engineer
FRANK MARCHAND, formerly the proprietor of Waterford Digital, is a welcome addition to the Airshow creative community, spearheading tracking and mixing services in Takoma Park. He's well known in the mid-Atlantic region for his fearless approach to recording music of all styles. Frank’s love for making music began in high school, performing as a bass player in rock bands. After graduating college with a B.A. in Communications and Computer Science, he became a sought after member of the live sound/recording studio community working in the indie rock scenes of Annapolis, Baltimore, and Washington D.C. Frank's experimental and independent approach to recording remains his signature – and a key reason artists and bands choose to record and mix with Frank.
Frank brings a connoisseur's collection of instruments, amps, mics and outboard gear, amassed over a 25 year career engineering a broad range of rock, jam-band, electronica, and singer-songwriter projects, a selection that allows artists a wide range of choices in pursuit of a sonic vision.
Frank's goal at Airshow Takoma Park is to have the best instruments, signal chain, monitoring and creative environment available to artists and bands.
