We use Taiyo-Yuden writable CDs, the same quality that we use for one-off reference and PreMaster CDs. All orders are computer-verified for data integrity. The duplicator makes an exact copy of the CD you send to us.
Design guidelines
Create your cd face graphic file using our cd template measurements within a 4.56" (116mm) square page format (see the illustration). The printing process will automatically crop the square art into the circle of the disc. When designing, be aware that a 1.75" (45mm) diameter circle will be cropped out for the center ring. If you draw any circles as guides for your art be sure to remove them before sending us your file. If we have to remove them you may be charged. To be certain that your art is positioned correctly for CD face printing, print a test onto a letter sized sheet. The image should be exactly centered on a letter size sheet. Always include this printout of your graphics with the graphics files.
Your design will be printed on a white background using a CMYK process. Images and/or colors in your file should be in CMYK mode. The graphic file should be saved as a Quark, Photoshop (non-compressed), or Adobe Illustrator file and also as a 600dpi, low compression PDF file using Acrobat Distiller. Graphics files can be given to us on a MAC or PC diskette, CD-Rom or zip. Do not send film. If you want us to make corrections or changes to your file, the charge is $60/hour.

 

We do not accept graphics or data files via email or download. Please send your graphics files and your master CD together.
