CHARLIE PILZER IS AN AIRSHOW CO-OWNER and the chief mastering engineer in Takoma Park. Over 30 years his path has included performing, producing, and engineering award-winning Celtic, folk and acoustic music. He has a Bachelor of Music in Music Theory from the University of Michigan Music School. In addition to mastering a dozen Grammy-nominated projects, Charlie received a Grammy for mastering and restoration on the Anthology of American Folk Music (1997). Charlie's attention to detail is well known from his audio restoration of vintage recordings, and his broad base of experience and musical knowledge has led to his success mastering many genres of music.
