"We foster an atmosphere of creativity in the studio. My vision of Airshow is a place where we can exchange ideas and solve musical and technical challenges.

Every Airshow engineer shares these values, and has earned their clients' trust through years of top-notch work.

We keep our tools updated, and follow technology all toward a goal of expanding the creative possibilities. Our clients count on our judgment to choose the right analog and digital gear to make their projects sound as good as they can sound. Many of our clients are starting to work in multichannel audio, and we've made sure we're surround ready - with skills and tools"

David Glasser has over 30 years experience in audio engineering and has mastered over 60 Grammy-nominated records. He is a three-time Grammy nominee and has earned 2 Grammy awards for mastering and restoration of the culturally significant Anthology of American Folk Music (1997) and Screamin’ and Hollerin’ the Blues: The Worlds of Charley Patton (2002)

David began his audio career with the Boston Symphony, followed by 8 years of recording and production for NPR. David's varied musical background, combined with his years of experience with digital technology, are key factors in his popularity as a mastering engineer. "We're always looking for ways to improve the process and the final product, and have some fun, too." David has participated in panels at the Audio Engineering Society conventions, Surround conferences, and local AES chapter meetings.

DOMINICK MAITA joined Airshow in 2004, bringing with him more than 20 years of recording, mixing, and mastering experience. "Having in-depth knowledge of every stage of the recording process, I have an especially clear understanding of all that has gone into a client's project before it comes to me for mastering. This insight means I can quickly focus on how to bring out the best in a recording."

A guitarist and classically trained pianist, Dominick studied engineering with Bill Porter at the University of Miami's School of Music Engineering. His professional life has included serving as chief recording engineer at RPM Studios in New York City and working as a freelance engineer/mixer throughout the United States and Europe. Most recently he was a mastering engineer at Sterling Sound in New York City. "We were able to recreate the best aspects of my New York studio in Studio B. I know my clients will appreciate the similarities in monitoring and sonic processing."

JIM WILSON, Mastering Engineer, joined Airshow in 2006. He brings over 23 years of studio recording experience, including his work as proprietor of an Austin, Texas mastering studio, Yes Mastering.

As a freelance engineer, Jim worked in recording studios across the US and Europe. Since 1991, Jim has mastered a variety of genres including hardcore punk, rockabilly, Americana, electronic, Latin, and indie rock.

Jim worked as a touring and recording artist. He’s been making music since childhood, and plays several brass instruments, bass and guitar. At the University of Texas at Austin, he studied advanced electronic synthesis, music history and theory, and audio production. He taught Sound Recording Technology at Texas State University.

His passion for music and attention to detail are some of the attributes that make him a welcome addition to Airshow. Jim welcomes the opportunity to introduce his clients to his HQ in Studio A and to Studio C, where he is able to master surround recordings for his clientele.

“No two recordings are the same; every project is unique and requires a custom approach. My goal is to make every effort necessary to achieve the original intent and vision of the artist.”

JAMES TUTTLE is well known in the mountains and the southwest as a talented recording and mixing engineer; he brings those talents and a practiced hand with Pro Tools to Airshow Boulder.

Since 1975, James has engineered and produced music projects in the Boulder/Denver area, Austin and the west, including concert-length videos, festival recordings, TV music series and live radio broadcasts. He's earned recording and/or mixing credit on hundreds of rock, pop, and folk records over the years. He is the regular music mixer for the national variety show, "E-town".

"I've enjoyed every facet of my career in music and audio, and continue to refine all aspects of my craft, including learning and working intensively with Pro Tools. The combination of Pro Tools HD and the Airshow surround studios is compelling - it's a great way to experience multichannel mixing."

James handles mixing duties in Home-Away-from-Home Studio, and is a part of Airshow's location recording team.
